About Us
“I bring imagination, energy and passion back to the process of winning bids and government funding.”
My ambition is to invest in strong, confident regional Australian organisations and help them tell their amazing stories and demonstrate their capacity in their tender and grant responses.
Katrina is one of regional Australia’s most successful tender preparation and grant writers. She started Tender Right in 2006, building on a successful career in regional economic development and local government. Since then, her expertise has been constantly in demand, and with good reason – she delivers tender responses and grant applications that get results. Almost 90% of the proposals Katrina works on personally are shortlisted and her clients routinely win million dollar contracts.
Located in the small town of Berrigan in southern NSW, Katrina's clients are based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and regional Australia (Bendigo, Shepparton, Wagga Wagga, Alice Springs, Cooktown, Bright, Barham and Echuca).
As a business practitioner, she specialises in consulting on Australian Government tenders and infrastructure grants that are important to an organisation’s bottom line and a community’s prosperity. Katrina works with a wide range of SME’s, government and not-for-profit organisations who are seeking expertise in grant writing and tender preparation. When it comes to writing tenders or funding applications, Katrina is ready, willing and distinctively able.
Katrina’s tender preparation and grant planning development methodology is used effectively by industry leaders in highly competitive sectors, including civil construction, aged care, community services, infrastructure, trades and professional services, who consistently win almost everything they bid for.
Katrina is also a respected speaker on tender preparation and grant writing related topics. She is was commissioned by Small Business Victoria to present “Winning Government Business” to regional businesses across Victoria.
She has been instrumental in skilling contractors in partnership with the local and state government authorities in preparation for major project tenders. These include “Tender Right” workshops and mentoring local businesses for the Victorian Bushfire Recovery and Reconstruction Program (post 2010 fires in Victoria), and the Bendigo Hospital Development. She presented “Understanding Tenders” in preparation for the Northern Victorian Irrigation Renewal Project in partnership with the Industry Capability Network.
